Looking for a "Big Book" on a particular curricular theme.  Try checking out the bulletin board section at your local Teacher Resource Store.  This Big Book was created by pasting one graphic and simple text to poster board.  Each page should be laminated.  Add texture and braille as needed.  Use binder rings to to bind the pages.

Many Bulletin boards come with extra activities.  This animals set came with a memory game.  We created mini books using the cards from the memory game in the same fashion as the Big Books. Add textures and braille for students that need their own copy to view during group language/story.

Note*  Enlarged materials are not beneficial for all student's with visual impairments.  Inquire with your student's Vision Specialist recommendations for enlarged materials.
