n the area of Social Studies, students can predict or gather information on climate changes in areas outside of the student's immediate environment.  Students can view maps by using a CCTV to enlarge graphics or by feeling a textured map.  Reading informational text about weather and how it differs from region to region.  Weather samples can be represented by picture symbols or textured symbols.
