Eyes, Nose, Fingers, and Toes

Objective: Students will learn about various body parts and ways to move each part by reading the story and participating in a variety of movements.
Activity:
1. Read the story “Eyes, Nose, Finger, and Toes:
2. Pass book around after each page and encourage students to “read” brailled page.
3. After each sequence have students locate body part.
4. Model actions as described in the story and ask students to perform action.
5. Ask students to turn pages in book.
6,. Review by asking students what they can do with various body parts mentioned in the story.
7. Enhanced activity: Ask students to name a body part and make up a motion to do with that body part:
