This graph was completed during a math lesson while students were studying "insects." Try using real objects as often as possible when graphing. If you cannot use real objects, such as "insects," use life like models.
To create a graph, cover a large piece of foam core board or cardboard with a piece of black felt. This will be the base of your reusable graph. Use velcro (scratchy side) to attach the students name at the bottom of the graph and title of the graph at the top. The title can be changed for each new investigation. Attach velcro (scratchy side) to the objects and have students attach them to the graph board.
