COMING SOON—Listening IS Learning
Listening IS Learning (LIL), a joint initiative of the American Council of the Blind and the DCMP, will be launching soon at www.listeningislearning.org [http://www.listeningislearning.org]. A “campaign to promote a sound education,” LIL is intended to raise public awareness about the benefits of described media, both for students with visual impairments and for those without visual impairments. More details will be forthcoming; in the mean time, visit the Listening is Learning website [http://www.listeningislearning.org] to sign up for an e-mail notification about the campaign launch.
