Overview

This site was created to collaborate with all persons working with young children with visual impairments.  It is our intention to provide easy to reproduce lessons that relate to themes being taught in Early Childhood across the state of Maryland.  Within this site we would like to share ideas, adaptations, accommodations and best practices.  If this is your first time working with a child with Visual Impairments,  it is our hope that you will find resources and ideas that you can use immediately with your student.

This site will change periodically as we add new pages to the themes, training calendar and news.  Please be patient as we update each area.

Your suggestions, comments and questions are welcome.  Please consider writing in our blog to share your ideas.  As always, the best ideas are the ones that are shared.

"VIC" is our furry mascot.  VIC made his first appearance at the Launch of this website.  Look for VIC to show up at conferences, schools, trainings and activities around the state.
