NVDA offers a free text to speech reader that can be downloaded directly to your computer or run from a external thumb drive.
When you download the NVDA text to speech reader, a shortcut icon is placed on your desktop. It is easy to access this icon to turn the reader on/off when needed.
NVDA provides feedback through both Braille and Synthetic Speech and is available in 20 languages.
This text to speech reader is very easy to use and offers support for any questions you may have. When is use, the synthetic voice reads programs on and offline and offers a variety of custom settings.
This is a great pre-cursor to other screen reader programs.
