Learning about the Letter T
September 15, 2008
Objective: Students will be introduced to the letter T using a variety of strategies.
Activities:
1. Look at/Touch the upper and lower case letter Tt using the texture and enlarged worksheet that is supplied.
2. Trace the letter Tt with fingers. Touch the letter Tt placement on the Braille cell.
3. Using the worksheet supplied, identify upper case T and lower case t. Using a brailled worksheet identify the letter a as opposed to a full Braille cell.
4. Write the letter Tt using markers, crayons, or pencil. Using a slate and stylus, or brailler, braille the letter Tt..
5. Chose items that begin with the letter Tt and put them in the toolbox.
